Lawless: Bedrock Melody - The musical

Felt this needed its own thread even though its much discussed in the Meg 424 thread.

Now I've listened to it the only problem is I've found the opening Boom Town song is a bit of an ear worm and after hearing it again while listening to the Thrillcast when running this morning I found myself humming it to myself while working!

I really hope, one day, when conventions happen again and we can all group together they'll be some glorious crazy folks who'll put on a live show of it. I mean can you imagine how fantastic that would be.

Me too - I was reading and listening to it in bed last night then, for a few minutes, was absolutely sure I was dreaming.  I often dream about the prog somehow using real audio.  (Also, the pictures often move in my 2000ad dreams - I'll be waiting for that.  Cyanide and Happiness does it already.)

Maybe I haven't looked properly, but I haven't seen any mention of the accompanying audio files in the Megazine itself.  Now that's an easter egg and a half.

Although this is not my cup of tea (I am a coffee man for crying out loud), kudos for the editorial and the master of writing Abnett to conceive such an idea. I think this is a first for comics.

Anything for more people to notice the world of Dredd and AD (regen prog) is good in my books.

What other thrill-usicals have there been?

Maybe best just not to mention Savage & Greysuit, though.
