Anyone else pick this up? Beautiful reprinting of 1960s era Who strips. Well worth a look for any Who fans, or just fans of beautiful comic art!

I picked this up and can heartily recommend.
I was a kid in the 80s and though I try to fight it there is some residue of the snobbish desire to be serious that infected Who fandom at the time in me.
And we all know that Who comic strips were rubbish tilll Wagner/Mills/Gibbons got hold of them in '78, yeah?

So I got it for the art mainly and have been really suprised by how much I enjoyed the stories.
They're great, I mean there's not as much exterminating humanoids as you'd want, but they're cracking adventures of weird mutant anti-heroes exploring the universe so they can conquer it. I like my Daleks either being sneaky or shooting things, this leans into the sneaky. Really good fun.
Apparently David Whitaker (First TV Script editor) had a hand in writing them.
Reproduction work is stunning.
And there's an image of a Dalek destroyed by flowers that is just gorgeous.
For anyone who, like me, doesn't have the nostalgia factor I would still say well worth it.

Agreed, it was a very pleasant surprise! Glad I finally found it.
