Ages ago I read in a comics convention brochure that Mick had worked on 'Rugrats' comic (for Marvel UK). That was news to me (and you?) - unfortunately the article didn't say which issue(s) he'd worked on.

Eventually I decided to bite the bullet and buy a few issues in the hope of finding out. Recently my patience has paid off and I've now identified issue 13 as being the issue in question.

Details of all contributors identified so far are on the blog (but include Simon Furman, Gordon Rennie and plenty of others) and I'll share details of Mick's actual work very soon.

Interesting - the work is so 'on model' its almost impossible (to me) to tell its Mike McMahon's work. I can spot his Sonic stuff but this I'd have never known.

You can see his style a bit in the idosyncratic figure work; all those bums and legs thrust out of the panel borders at the viewer  -

yeah, it's a great combination of 'on model' work and his own specific 'tells' but I def. needed the credits page to tell me it was his - it would have taken me a long time to guess.

I'm always interested in these perhaps over-looked side projects and this one was a great one to hunt down
