5/10 and 4/10.

Um, we are still voting on covers, yeah?

Looks like Tharg's been on the plastic cups a bit early.

That meg cover is FAN-TASTIC.  Is it one artist or a mix?

Art

He can give them up any time he wants, he's just had a cold is all...

Greg Staples according to the blurb.

James

He's getting really good these days.

The Amstor Computer

Thanks for the preview, Logan. The covers are... interesting.

The characters on the Meg cover look fantastic, but the background colour is naff, and I *really* don't like the "frame" around Satanus.

I don't recognise the artist on the Tharg cover - though recognising him is made slightly more difficult by the OTT effects. Toned down, this could be a nice cover, but I'm afraid it's not a patch on the previous set of Christmas progs.

Still, it's what in them that counts, and the lineup still looks cracking.

"Greg Staples according to the blurb."

And what an excellent Dredd chin he's done too.

This is the man to get on Judge Dredd weekly.  It's great stuff and the sort of art the strip  deserves.

Not entirely sure about that - the version of Dredd Greg Staples has drawn there is quite far removed from his usual style and seems to be more of a Brian Bolland pastiche than a new style for him. It *is* lovely though, and I'd really like to see this interpretation of Dredd appearing more often in the weekly.

Devons Daddy

WOW.
the megs cover is bloody wonderful..
someone send siku a copy and greggs handphone number.
I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

HiEx

Am I the only one to find the title of this thread slightly disturbing, or is it just that my mind is always in the gutter?

Anyway, I wanna know how Death keeps his ultra- huge knee pads from sliding down those skinny legs?

And is it just me, or does Tweak seem to have lost a lot of weight? Unless of course that's the younger son of Tweak on the cover.

I agree that's a well drawn Dredd.

Hi-Ex

Matt

Are you guys all taking the piss? the Meg cover is bloody awful. Like a fan trying to draw like Bolland. Badly. And hey!, another Tharg cover. Wow.

HiEx

I think Tharg looks like a woman in that pic!

Hi-Ex

Dunk!

When did Anderson become a country and western singer? That hairdo - Sheesh!

It is very Bolland, but if the guy is disciplined enough to draw like Brian then good luck to him. It's a pleasing style compared to some of the scrawls that now litter tooth.
"Trust we"

Mr C

Nice looking Dredd, geat Satanus, Death doing a tommy Cooper impression (Jussst like that sssinersss), Tweak getting ready to bust some evil christian sapce missionary heads and Anderson hasn't been keeping up with her hair dye since she's been in a coma and looks as if she's showing ehr age a bit. Strange choice of colour for the background though. Mauve would have been better.
