ALAN MOORE BEST WRITER EVER !?

i personally love moore's work and was wondering what other people think of his work on 2000ad and boyond. also what do think his best work has been here are my top 3
 
1. Watchmen quite simply the best comic evr in my opinion
2. Skizz a realistic view of the whole ET thing and also good characters
3. V for Vendatta shows Moore's "Brittishness" to the max

3. Halo Jones.

Top 10 is appalling, though.  From Hell was pretty disturbing, but has lost its impact now, and is condemned to the art house ghetto now that the film's come out.  i might be wrong about that last point, dont quote me.

I too am a fan of Moore's work. Here's my Top 3

1. V For Vendetta
2. Marvel Man
3. From Hell

I would also add close runners up for Watchmen (read it the other week actually and was surprised how much of it had dated, and also how much of it was chillingly relevent to events of the past 3 months), Captain Britain and Swamp Thing. Of his current stuff Promethea gets my vote, as does Top 10. Haven't read League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (waiting for the trade) and found Tom Strong to be little too retro.
