Thanks.  Really gutted I couldn't enjoy it properly but at least I got to watch the show and play a small part in it. Roll on next May.

Tough break.
Sincerest sympathies sent from somewhere safely upwind.

I'll level with you - I got food poisoning at the start of the weekend and spent very little time cavorting.  I'll spare you the details but I'm still not feeling right.  Ah well, there's always next May.

Simon Fraser on FB has said he's doing Lawless? Did I miss news on this?

Love SF's work but also sad to see Phil Winslade go if true.

Quote from: IndigoPrime on 04 May, 2024, 07:51:30 PMWith Dredd, it was also a case of: what was the point in setting up the cadet? She's good. She's different. She's not a show off. He liked her. He didn't like many. Etc. Oh, and now she's dead. Could have been supporting cast. Could have grown. But no: dead. Yet another in the long, long, long list. I don't know why it annoyed me so much, but it just did. Maybe it was just: hey, this character seems intriguing. She could be interesting. But she was just more cannon fodder. Another red shirt to get killed in the service of the story. (Honestly, it wasn't even that shocking/surprising either. It was just sad.)

I'm keeping a vague eye on what's happening in the Prog so I have an idea of what trades I might want to pick up.

Very disappointed to read this. It just assuages my doubts about cancelling my subscriptions.

Regards,
Robin

Quote from: JayzusB.Christ on Today at 05:09:15 AMSorry, been away from the board for a couple of days.
You spend a weekend cavorting with young witches and you forget who your real friends are?
Just remember: that when the ecstatic music dies down, the sun comes up, and the drugs wear off, the pretty young things are going to put their tops back on and forget about you.
But we'll still be here for you – a cohort of middle-aged men with earnest opinions about old comics.
Now be honest: which would you rather?

If only I had won the euro millions 🙁 there's still a couple of chances before auction ends 🤞🏻
