Morning!
It had a good run, but several years later said tat is now lasered in preperation for becoming something else. No regrets, but not the kind of design that stays crisp over time unfortunately.

Now, back to lurkerdom with me  :D x

In Stocksbridge theres a pub called the Cock Inn...  :-\

There's one in Liverpool that was called the Cockwell Inn.
It was changed to The Cockwell after a few whinging locals complained to the council. Some people...  ::)

Until very recently there was a pub down here called the Fawcett Inn. For years some mates and I wanted to open one across the road and call it The Ram At Home. Sadly they didn't have their own brand of cider... :D

Sorry to butt in out of nowhere, SMALL WORLD moment ahoy! My housemate came home a few weeks ago sporting a spur-of-the-moment Pitchshifter logo on his leg. Guess where he got it done?! Didn't realise ther was another boarder on my stomping ground! SHould you feel inclined to visit the Wedge this evening, pop up to the stage and give us a wave! :)

Oh go on then, there's not been one of these in a while.
I've not changed much.

Here I am working. Note, I have found a stockist of my favourite hair dye. I know you were all dying to know how that worked out  ;)

Gig shot. Note small Dredd tat on right shoulder as I know that comes up occasionally.

Enjoying a MASSIVE BEER at someone else's gig. There may have been some of that infamous Jagermeister involved

I have two shades of purple in my hair and I am wearing an AXECOP T-shirt which says - FREEZE OR I'LL CHOP YOUR HEAD OFF!

And I think I look rather fantastic today, actually. :)

Do you (or anyone else) by any chance know of anywhere I can get manic panic dye in the UK? I have run out of UV purple and am starting to go a bit... 'blue rinsy' :-\

... A lot of hate for autotune...

OK, so i paraphrased but I'm 100% with you there. This has been kicking around for a while and shows just how much you can warp things with autotune. It's pretty good actually, made me chuckle  :D

There was no need for any superior shit because you only ever get that in larger towns and cities and the smaller the place the more easy it is to get to know everyone.

Very true. It's the same here in Southsea. Small place, big alternative scene. I'm still DJing for a living and on an average Friday we have goths, punks, skins, metallers, emos, crusties, bikers, indie scenesters, psychobillies, mods - you name it! Everyone gets along famously and it makes for a very interesting playlist. (Except the pub golf crawls. They need to be beaten with their own plastic golf clubs.)

Now there's a thing I don't understand the appeal of - Pub golf. Seriously, wtf?

I'll stand up for the emos though. In my line of work, they pay my wages some nights and I'd rather play to them than a lot of other crowds. Believe it or not, they always have a lovely time and I don't think I've ever finished one of those nights without several free drinks inside me!

Oh, and incidentally, I played Temple of Love last night. Consider it belatedly dedicated to all the goths on this thread  :D x

Good point.
Did you see that "Last Supper" picture that was released at the start of the season. I just saw it today. Interesting, if it actually means something!

Yes! I really hope it is relevant - lovely imagery.

When Smokey Joe sees the kid (Jacob perhaps?)

I think the kid is Aaron. Don't ask me how that works, I just have a feeling...

Credit to an old friend of the board, Mr C for this theory, but I think he's right. I think the whole parallel universe thing will end up being answered by Eloise and Faraday's journal. Remember that whole 'Desmond will be my constant' thing? I think he knew this would happen and he was trying to find a way to put things right. Sadly, I cleared out my fb inbox this morning and can't remember the whole theory. Arses!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand on that note I've just been reliably informed that Tanky is in fact a member of the female persuasion, which I did not know prior to posting!!!! Whoops!

....

I'll get me coat...!!

No worries Van D, it made me chuckle  :D
I haven't been around here much for some considerable time so for all newer boarders, yes I am in fact a woman. Or at least a fairly close approximation. Having recently re-joined the ranks of singledom, I have a feeling I'll be spending many more evenings in front of the internet, so I might even make some sort of valuable contribution to the board at some point.

Don't hold your breath though eh?  ;)

Oh, and Ush - Drink Jagermeister as soon as possible, it's wonderful, wonderful stuff!

It's nice to be back  :D

I haven't had a telly since moving into my current house about 6 months ago and I don't miss it one jot. In fact, I think not having a telly is right up there in my list of Best Things Of Last Year. I didn't have three months of Christmas advertising shoved in my face and had a much nicer time than usual. I've generally been a much happier individual since getting shot of it. I s'pose it just goes to show how much of the Absolute Bollocks involved in modern life is in fact the fault of the media.

Having said that, I am looking forward to downloading new Lost, until such a time as I can complete my dvd collection  :D

I too could've put this better but I have things to do x

The last time we had snow like this round my way was about 15 years ago. I'm having a lovely time!
Right, I'm off down the park with Booga's husky and a load of other people who're old enough to know better for an apocalyptic snowball fight.

And to build a ten foot snowcock

We're off on tour in the spring, pimpage nearer the time in the unlikely event thus raises any interest x
