I have to say I found Tom Baker very amusing as guest host. But I might be biased.

The Enigmatic Dr X

Not seen it yet - I've taken to watching the extended edition on a Saturday night. It's like a Director's Cut for telly. Which is the way forward, if you ask me.
Lock up your spoons!

The Legendary Shark

He was very good, yes. Will watch the Director's Cut tonight, too.

Now all we need is a goofy sc-fi series starring Tom Baker, Brian Blessed and Andrew Sachs. "Manuel Searches for Flash Gordon in a TARDIS," perhaps?

...perhaps not...

sat edition was even better than the friday one.

Tom Baker Rules, ( HIs bits on little britain is the funniest part of the show)
"Save Trees, Eat Beavers"
"Animal Rights: Animals have the right to be tasty"

I was really impressed by Baker, particularly how much better his actual ad-libs were than his obviously-scripted ones.  A lot sharper than his mugging to camera might suggest.  Tom Baker for New Who in a regeneration-goes-wrong scenario!  That'd be a turnip for the books.

nope, the ONLY funny part of the show

Doubly so for echoing what the entire viewing audience was thinking.
