My eyes feel funny looking at that picture. As if I've got water in my eyes and seeing double... which I kind of am, I suppose, but the effect is quite dazzling.

I noticed it, but thought it was also my eyes!

The original is 10x10cm and also has that strange effect. It's a confusion caused by the human instinct locking onto the primary features of another face before the intellect can reason it out (a 'Macro'); the instinct, unthinking, tries to lock on the eyes, but darts back and forwards between both pairs, searching for what it assumes should be a mouth slotted in between.
