really enjoying the Megazine
highlight - Lawless - amazing artwork , a nice background story to Pettifer -
Blunt is looking to be a good story
Dredd is an excellent cross-over story - which I am really enjoying
Realm of Damned is okay - its a new story , so I'm giving it time to get better

good prog overall

Cover: very nice allegory for 1984
Dredd: really enjoying this story
Slaine: improving - and the pace is starting to pick up
Brink: very good
Black shuck: enjoyable
Grey area: very good

I re-subscribed back in 2012 ( after Dredd movie ) - I had read the comic in the 1970's and early 1980's
and for me the best new series are
1 - Jaegir 2 - Lawless 3 - Brass Sun 4 Grey Suit 5 Tainted - fall of deadworld

I heard from Gordon Rennie himself ( at Edinburgh Comic Con ) that the next Jaegir series
will be called " War Child " , appear in the summer and feature a return to a certain planet - cant wait

yes , its a shame it was so early , as there was only maybe 10 - 12 people there
and it was a great talk ( I posted the you tube link if interested )

This is excellent , can we in the future have an interview with Pat Mills and Gerry Finlay-Day please ?

I also asked a few questions at the 2000ad panel ( very poor attendance at it , sadly )

highly recommended and well attended

I went there this year , and met Wagner and Ezquerra , and bought Rok of the Reds and an autographed Poster - and got my copy of Darkies Mob autographed -
I travelled from the Scottish Borders by train , and stayed in a Premier Inn at the Trafford Centre
Event City was a great venue , but you had to research , on the ground , the best way to get there
( on the covered walk way at Barton crescent ) - the thing about the area is that it is so HUGE you take 1/2 hour to walk there from the Hotel - and very busy with a lot of people
I would recommend to anyone , that its well worth going to it

I have been reading 2000ad and the Megazine since 2012 ( I read it in the 1970's and early 1980's )
and it is my best ever investment in a subscription - amazing stories ,and have attended the Edinburgh and Manchester Comic Cons and met Wagner, Ezquerra ,Beeby and Rennie droids !

I hope they will have a story about Hellmann of Hammer Force - he was always a firm favourite of mine

I recommend the 2000's Black Flame Books on Dredd - really well written
and the new Book Dredd Year One paperback is terrific
