Typically stylised Fabry cover.  Nice start.  Love the texture on it.

Dredd simmering along nicely.  Love the characterisation on  this.  Holden's art suits it perfectly as well.  Like the way DOC is being explored from different aspects even after the event, the exploration of the cadet's experience and the development of Dolman as a character.

Anderson, Dexter and Stickleback all stand out for their artwork more than anything else. Enjoyable reads but not leaping out.  Zombo as bonkers as ever with more quality one liners to choose from  ("AAAAH! my proud areoloae!", "Yeah, turns out aiming guns is really hard dude", "there's a cartoon mouse! and racist undertones!", "is this what happens in the men's loo?")  Quality!

Cover: Beautiful work by Monsieur Fabry ... but I doubt it would stand out on a shelf in a newsagent.  Would make a cracking poster, though.

Droid Life: Somebody's been hanging around the famous
"Furniture Porn"
website a little too much...

Dredd: Moving along nicely.

Red Seas:  Yet again, another pointless episo--  Oh, hang on!  It finished months ago!  Yay!

Cadet Anderson: I think I'm in love with Cadet Hauser.  Otherwise, a pleasantly workmanlike episode.

Sinister Dexter: Witless Protection - Malone Again (Part Two) Something tells me Dan Abnett is looking to effectively re-boot things, and go back to basics.

Stickleback: Not sure what's going on anymore.  Maybe it'll work better reading everything in one sitting.

Zzzombo:  Yawn.

Overall a nice "moving things along" prog.

Cover - A nice image but it doesn't look like Anderson to me.

Dredd - Really enjoyed this episode. Falcone is turning out to be a proper git!

Anderson - was that some sort of Predator like camouflage used the beginning? I though the thing with the babies was a bit sick and not something I particularly won't to see in the prog to be honest.

Sin/Dex - enjoyed this episode but still not sure the art suits the strip.

Still skipping Stickleback and Zombo.

Probably one of the lesser progs of recent times in my opinion.

Dredd was a fine episode of a solid story, Stickleback carried on and Cadet Anderson got off to a solid if uninspiring start. That leaves the real quality to Zombo and Sinister Dexter and both are paying off in spades. Zombo is starting to head towards 'will be better in one reading territory' with so much going on, but there always enough in each episode to keep me entertain, highly. Sinister Dexter works really nicely and Burns' art is really starting to settle in. Hope the revelation at the end doesn't get people panicking, this one is looking great.

No Prog. :( First time in months.

Hmmm.  Colin didn't rise to the bait, A.Cow.  Though for sure he considered it.

Yeah but you should see the state of me tongue now from biting it so hard!

Black and blue and with a texture akin to Widicombs complexion?

Loving the prog at the moment. Zombo is utter genius as ever, adoring Stickleback, Dredd and Sin/Dex and Cadet Anderson has The King back in the prog. All is well.

The Enigmatic Dr X

Yes, but why was Anderson invisible?
Lock up your spoons!

JUDGE BURNS

A lovely painted cover by Mr Fabry of young Cadet Anderson.

Droid life was good as usual. BUT only 2 stories are worth mentioning.
Dredd and the return of Cadet Anderson.
In Dredd it looks as though cadet Falcone has gone ruthless and rogue ( reminds me of a certain clone of Dredd from way back...RICO.)

The rest are, dare i say it ...just filling in the rest of the prog. Sorry but these 3 other tales are boring me now.
A very quick read today indeed.

Yes, but why was Anderson invisible?

If I read it right, it wasn't Anderson who was invisible -- it was Cadet Hauser.  Presumably her psi-talents are being invisible and having a rather shapely bum & legs.

Proudhuff

Cover -   very pretty, but its not Debbie Harry is it?

Dredd - Excellent episode, nice pacing and artwork/reveal, looking forward to the Falcon/Dredd face off.

Anderson - Fine artwork, but no real threat and with Dredd/Day of Chaos setting the bar so high this was a bit flat for me.

Sin/Dex - paper sheets in filing cabinets? is this the future we have to look forward to? what happened to Fony-tech?

Stickleback marvelous stuff, the 'fall out' from the last series continues with some hearty reveals, oh and the Judas silver is a nice touch.

Zombo truely touched by the hand of (a mad) god! Quote of the prog: "Yeah, turns out aiming guns is really hard dude",
DDT did a job on me

Mister Macheath

Nice cover. Not Fabry's bestest, but still Fabry and still brilliant.

Really enjoying Dredd and some fairly shocking panels from PJ to boot. The
coffee jug to the face
was particularly brutal, as was were the results. Best strip in the prog at the minute, really looking forward to the Dredd/Falcon show-down. As of yet I still don't think it needs the 'Family' aspect, but maybe Carroll's got something spectacular in mind so I should reserve judgement on that for now.

Anderson was great fun too and the art top notch, although I did think the chap col-cocked near the start did bear too heavy a resemblance to the MP outta the last Strontium Dog effort. Not a big deal and I really enjoyed everything else. As stated above, it definitely wasn't Anderson going invisible, it was Hauser. In fact, I didn't even read it as going invisible, moreover psychically bopping a daystick on yer man's bonce. Could be wrong though.

Still enjoying Sinister Dexter an awful lot but as a newcomer the last panel left me cold - any tips on where to start catching up here? Fun writing and top art, seems like my cup of tea.

No point hammering it all out again but for reasons I've already gone through I'm just not enjoying Stickleback, I did get a laugh out of the
wee fella inside the big fella
. Still, looking forward to this wrapping up.

Another weak Zombo for me too. Had its moments and the tension/bodycount is ramping up but aside for some always pleasant Zom-dialogue I didn't find much to enjoy here.

Oh aye, Droid Life was fun. I'm not always a fan, but the sex-pest sofa is a great character.
