Big sale on the website right now. Some highlights include the lovely Marney the Fox HC at an absurdly low-priced £4.49 and Repo Men for £3.75!
So annoyed I was about to check out and got called inside, missed the Beatles book.
Holy dok, there's some absolute bargains on there!!! :)

Wow—that went out of stock quickly! I had it in my basket also.

Still in stock, apparently!
At least when I just checked!!!
Only in digital.

No, it's the HC! I've just ordered it on its own and emailed the webshop begging to combine my orders and refund me the extra postage.
This sale is so dangerous, I must stop now!
Perhaps someone bailed and you got the last one!

Ha! I've not got that for an age and buckled this time and BANG yeah it was gone, which given the price isn't surprising. Some one got a right deal.
Mind the other thing is how come everytime one of these sales comes along I
STILL have things I need to get... I mean I'm no longer buying everything - who could - but I get a lot and still I've managed to fill a health basket. Mind at some very good prices I have to say. Got some excellent deals.
Thanks for the heads-up Indigo, bagged a couple of bargains.
I keep faffing here. Things keep going out of stock (mostly recently, Hope Under Fire). So, er, take heed anyone who is also faffing. (Must stop faffing.)

Ah sorry think I might have grabbed the last copy of that. Was aiming for things I suspect won't get collected in the UC extension. Fingers crossed I gambled right. Although with some of these prices it's not such a big loss.
Some good savings there. I went for Search and Destroy files, both Leopard from Lime St books and a who-could-resist Marney. All for just over £35 with postage.
sintec: No worries. You snooze, you lose, right? In the end, I adjusted my order to reduce the postage and got the other Hope book from Blackwells, who have it on sale too. (The book was not as cheap, but it worked out slightly less all-in.)
Timothy: Good call on Marney. It's a gorgeous book. For under a fiver, it's a steal.
The special edition Full Tilt Boogie is on there too. That's a beautiful book.
My package has arrived already, which is fast work at sale time. And I also got upgraded to the hardback of the first Leopard from Lime Street when I had ordered the paperback. Very impressed.
"I also got upgraded to the hardback of the first Leopard from Lime Street when I had ordered the paperback."
Odd. I might have ordered the HCs had both been available. Anyway, my package arrived too. I grabbed Hope, Goldtiger and the Zenith slipcase which, blimey, is very tight for those four books.
Gutted I missed Marney, but (amongst other things) I picked up Masters of British Comic Art in the sale - a book I had long dithered over getting - it arrived today and by god it is lovely. It's packed with beautiful images and definitely the sort of book I need to convince people* that comic art is actual art (and therefore I'm an art collector, not a big kid)
* I'm talking about my parents and my wife here
Marney the Fox still seems to be available in physical form (and 76% off!). I was able to put 17 in my basket (and take them out again). When I tried 20 it said 18 was the upper limit.

Woah! Cheers Dash!
I've just had a bundle of Stront delivered from the sale. Now I can read all the stuff I didn't vote on!

Exciting, love to hear that! What did you get? Nothing quite as good as Strontium Dog, enjoy!

Basically all the revival stuff, ie the flashbacks, and also the post Life and Death one. I'd got the classic run already, but never re-read the recent (last 20 years!) stuff.

Ripper! Last time Marney was marked out of stock as soon as it appeared in Stevie's basket, but scored a copy this time.
Cheers Dash.
That Beatles book now seems in stock as well. Wondering about going back for a second round. Not that I've read the ones I bought first time out yet.
The Thrillmail has stated there's another sale on, with up to 90%(!) off of collections.

Gah. And again someone has nabbed something that was in my basket. *huffyface*
The sale even includes "Limited" print run things like the Judge Dredd Sketchbook. Supposedly only 500 were printed and that was back in 2016!
Also, it's worth checking back with the sale if something goes OOS. Might be temporary. (I got the book I really wanted: the last Kingdom trade.)
Quite annoyed that I accidentally ordered the paperback of Third World War 2 instead of the hardback. What will the neighbours think of my spines!
I just want to know when my order will actually turn up. I know Brexit is used as an excuse for everything, but it's now more than 4 weeks and up to 10 weeks is apparently now normal. How does it physically take so long? Where do the parcels actually go - the mind boggles.
That's a bit odd Lorenzo. Normally Rebellion are pretty good on the dispatch front. Sales do tend to slow things down a little. Not sure how many staff they have on the packing / posting front.
As for the question of where things go, around here we've got a couple of bottle-necks. Cardiff sorting seem to slow things down quite a bit and then our local depot is going through managers faster than Johnson is revolving votes.
Chatting with one of the posties the other day it seems like they've been mucking around with schedules and staffing to make things more 'efficient'. The net result seems to be that we now have a three / maybe four day post as they can't keep up with deliveries.
Of course it could be that your postie recognised the parcel as coming from Rebellion and has decided to read everything before they deliver it. ;-)
Lorenzo: Probably send them a message. My Megatropolis hasn't shown up, so I... emailed customer support. They're now on the case. (I've found the 2000 AD shop is usually fairly swift with in-stock stuff—around a week or so from order to delivery.)
Thanks for your collective concern. I should have probably pointed out that I'm in the Netherlands which more than likely explains most of the delay. Last order I placed, I had a little whinge after two weeks and was told up to ten weeks is now normal. Sure enough it turned up after five weeks. I am just amazed that any post travelling such a short distance can actually take that long. Taxes seem to be pre-paid so god knows why it has to sit on a shelf somewhere for a month.
Ah. Well, we're Brexit Island now. No containers. Massively reduced shipping. Imports are fine, but exports are fucked. Blame our absurd parody of a government.
Just got my Third World War HCs. What's up with the different finish huh! And the size where I expected them to be the same as things like the 13th floor rather than Button Man. To cap it off my vol1 has a hugely dinged bottom right corner to the point where the pages made a crunchy sound when I opened it. Emailed for a replacement. Such a shame as the packaging is top notch; must have been damaged in the warehouse.
