I would almost hope they did a Animated Dredd over a Live Action TBH.

The only complaint I can make about the Case Files is that they don't PUT THEM OUT FAST ENOUGH!

That and I hope there is a follow up story to Pup Fiction.  Wanna see some characters at the least get CUBED!

#28 was a good collection of Fun and (somewhat) Serious stories.  If only we could clean our political parties like Dredd can.

I liked both to be honest.

That's actually a good point: what's worse than no sequel? A disappointing sequel!
Just be happy with the masterpiece we've got.

Its for this reason that I am waiting to see how DeadPool 2 turns out now that the La La Execs see the money it can make.

Ditto that.  Just got it and read the Dead man.  Was there any shock when The Dead Man's Id was revealed in this story or was this foreseeable from a few miles/kilometers away when it came out?

And WHY can't they put out the Case Files (or the Restricted Files for that matter as well) FASTER!?

Don't be sad, we are lucky to get so awesome film!
I can be happy with this.  One of the (if not THE)Best Cult Movies of all Time. It will always be in my Top 10 Favs of Comic book movies.  That and no crappy Film Exec Crapped Up sequel to ruin it.

Many notable R-rated films performed well last year:

Fifty Shades of Grey
The Revenant
Straight Outta Compton
Mad Max: Fury Road
Kingsman: The Secret Service
The Big Short
Magic Mike XXL
The Hateful Eight

I put my vote in for an Animated Movie version.

Film Discussion / Re: How would you do "Dredd 2"?

I had the idea after hearing some people complain about Karl not getting any "face time" in the movie that they do a running gag in the back ground where they show some wacked out MC-1 TV in the background and they show some commercials that have Max Normal selling something and Karl could portray both Dredd and Max.

I thought it sounded funny but that may just be me.

All I know is that they just need to get Alan Grant involved with the script and then I will have NO WORRIES what so ever.

A bit of T.B Grover never goes wrong.

In the Psycho Cubes if you keep reading those slugs.

If this works would they do a Count Duckula as well?

... would I want them to?

This was a fun movie. Of the 3 movies I have seen this year (in theaters) this grabs my #2 spot. Right after X:DOFP and knocks Godzilla to the 3rd spot.  Although the movie's only downside for me was the very end. It suffers from the Slate Grey effect and just to much shaky cam.

Meh. I dropped this series and started to concentrate on buying the Case Files instead. That and now the Restricted Files.   I suggest all the state side cubers do the same.
