Whoops sorry didn't realise this was a vote and thus completely missed the point of the exercise. Don't think I can face trimming to 15 but might try later.

Books & Comics / Re: Brendan McCarthy's Spider-man Fever

Why you ask have I dragged this thread up by its coat tails well it would seem that Brendan McCarthy had a sequel up his sleeve which alas Marvel don't feel they can run with. Look what we're missing out on sigh.

Welcome to the board / Re: Hello

Welcome aboard and have fun. As for suggestions of what to read from the last 15 years aside from the unhelpful answer of as much as you can get hold of what did you like back in the day?

Off Topic / Re: Got Snow?

So I've had a couple of days off work as Sheffield (and Rotherham where I work) are well and truly snow bound and for once not just people panicking but proper load of snow. So anyway while making my daughter a snow bear I tried to be a bit imaginative with my next one. Now remember I'm not snow sculptor but its the thought that counts hey!

Here's the bear that I actually happy with

By the same token if you get it at an LCS in your pull pile it won't be visible to browsers anyway. The more people who order it the shop might be inclined to order more for the shelves. Best best is to ask at the shop and see what they say.

I personally went for a sub as it means more directly to the 2000ad coffers and I'm an impatient bugger so like getting it on Saturday.

Well forgot this was starting today and so this was a glorious surprise! That chin mutation is the work of genius alone, never mind the rest!

c) organise competing small press event in friendly local hostelry for same days, thus providing home for all boarders and access to Millar's market for small press folks (steal his socks from under him - bwa ha ha ha).....

Now that sounds like a very positive idea! Easy for me to say but go for it

Ha that reminds me of that Alpha Flight issue by John Byrne called 'Snowblind' half of which was just white panels with word balloons as Snowbird had a fight in a blizzard (if I remember right).
