The letters page of a prog I read earlier today featured your fantasies regarding Linda Lusardi's cleavage, so we're building up an interesting picture of your biological and cultural development.

I have just read progs 700-799. My slog is now on hiatus, my eyes are bleeding.

Point is, where is Button Man?! No sign... I look for Paisley, I look, I look...
(don't mind me, perhaps it was the low 500's. Who knows  :) )

hippynumber1

First single I bought myself was 'Dreadlock Holiday' by 10cc, first album was AC/DC 'High Voltage'. I did own the Grease soundtrack before that though...

Dudley

First single I bought for myself was Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby, on vinyl.

Take heed, 'cause I'm a lyrical poet
Miami's on the scene just in case you didn't know it

(And that's the sort of thing that made me an English Lit lecturer...)

First album was the B52's Cosmic Thing.

Ha , I remember a mate at school bought every version of that (there were about a dozen) on the same day - this was the first time I'd come across multiple-version 12" releases and we all thought he was insane for buying the same record 12 times.

Devons Daddy

i would rather list my first CD brothers in arms by Dire straits. so i could claim some form of respect to myself.

but reality is the single January by Pilot, a scottish band one hit wonder.
oh the shame!!!!!
I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

Sideshow Bob

My first album I bought was the extremely cool and still awesome...
Black Sabbath : Black Sabbath.....which I absolutely loved and still do 30 odd years later !

Unfortunately the 1st single I bought was the really crap : In the Year 2525 by Zaeger and Evans...
How can you possibly reconcile one with the other....Jeeezz !!

Cheers

Bolt-01

Oh, go on then: First single- Why Can't This be love by the mighty Van Halen. Album is trickier- I think it was 5150, which I bought on the same day as Batman and the Outsiders issue something in the later thirties with art by Alan Davis.

Dog Deever

First album I had bought for me was A Fistful of Dollars/ For a Few Dollars More soundtrack. It was brilliant- I still have it (and as mp3's too  :-[)
I was quite fortunate- my parents got me Motorhead 'Iron Fist' album one year, which is ace- presumably my big sister suggested it.

First album I bought myself was (embarrassingly) The Exploited - 'Troops of Tomorrow'. I later, shamefully, bought more of their albums. There, I have confessed- I feel clean now.
Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.

Arkwright99

First single I bought was 'Eye of the Tiger' by Survivor, which was lucky as my second single was Peter Howell's Doctor Who Theme with Peter Davison cover and that just doesn't have as much street cred in anyone's book (except the saddest anorak's).

First album was probably something by Bowie or Ultravox but I forget which now. I'm going to go with Diamond Dogs because that's a little bit cooler than Monument. ;)
