there are serveral reports on facebook that we have just lost the great Alan A Grant passed away this morning

This is a great loss to 2000AD & the wider comic comunity, sincerest condolences to his wife Sue and the rest of Alan's family

Oh that's just horrible news, terrible. Love and condolances to his family. I sure we'll all be talking about his amazing legacy when we've had time to absorb this horrible news.

Sad news, he was one of the great ones.
When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

Old age is the Lord's way of telling us to step aside for something new. Death's in case we didn't take the hint.
