Just spotted this on Ebay, I didn't think 2000AD was sold in Brazil back then, pretty sure it wasn't. Is this some kind of fake copy?

Judging by how they've managed to print white onto bog-roll stock, I'd say it's a more modern reproduction. Just guessing though.

I'm pretty sure that's genuine: the covers of Ano 2000 were higher quality than newsprint, so the paper was white. The tan border/background is deliberate.

It wasn't the first time 2000 AD comics were published in Brazil. In 1979 EBAL, a old Brazilian publishing house, published 10 issues of "Ano 2000" (2000 Year) between february and november of that year.
