Set in the European Parliament  and the fictitious country Fang Dong, â??Operation Red Dragonâ? is the fictional story of Elisa Correr, an MEP who gets embroiled in a  risky and fascinating adventure whilst in pursuit of her parliamentary activities.

European Parliamentarians  do not  generally  lead such dangerous lives as Elisa Correr, nevertheless you can learn about the the work of an MEP, the ALDE political group, the European Parliament and the other European Institutions through this story.

New instalments will be available for download every week from this site. So come back to follow the adventures of Elisa Correr.

The aim of the comic strip is to illustrate the activities and processes of the European Parliament in a more accessible and enjoyable format than studying text books about the EU. Enjoy !

Hey it worked against the Commies in the 50s right?

I've read three pages and I feel more European already. Those Dong Fangese swine have no chance against "a stalwart Liberal"

"Fang Dong"? Is it just me or does this sound a bit Fu Manchu "slant-eyed-yellow-devil"-ish?
Is racism still OK when it's directed towards the shifty oriental types?

Reminds me of the recent-ish advert for packet noodles that featured a little fat buck-toothed cartoon chinaman in the familiar pointy hat, bowing and "ah-so-ing" all over the place.

Of course this is just a knee-jerk reaction from someone who hasn't actually read it yet (I'm in work, and big-ass PDFs make my PC cry). Just struck me as a bit odd, is all...
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

I'm sure all will agree, this needs much more nudity to make it interesting. It wouldn't be hard to squeeze in. It's nearly at the pitch of, "The craven yellow peril are here to rape our women."

Ignatzmonster

I'm just kidding, it's not that bad. Besides with China's long list of human right's violations if you have to have an enemy for your story they'd do fine. Stand by the nudity comment.

I'm just kidding, it's not that bad.

I dunno, it seems awfuly close to straying into this sort of territory...
