Oy!  That was my one!  How dare you express the same opinion as me.
"Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest"

Second perp: "He's dead! Thought you said legshot!"

The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

Where do I stand? I'll tell you where I stand. I stand four-square for justice. I stand for discipline, good order and the rigid application of the law - and Grud help any limp-wrist liberals who say any different.

The people, they know where I stand. They need rules to live by - I provide them. They break the rules, I break them. That's the way it works. The people like it that way. They need to know where they stand.

Rights? Sure. I'm all for rights. But not at the expense of order. That's why I like to see that Statue of Judgement standing there, towering over Liberty. Kind of a symbol.

Justice has a price.

The price is freedom.

Dunno how I forgot this one, but it suddenly came back to me last night - from the otherwise so-so Judgement Day by Garth Ennis comes this most beautifully Wagnerian non-Wagner exchange:

Dredd to Johnny Alpha, meeting him again for the first time since Top Dog - 'Where's the fat creep?'
Alpha, incensed - 'He had a name, dammit! It was Wulf Sternhammer!'
Dredd - 'That's his problem.'

I do love poor Wulf, but oh how I love that line.

"Let's not speculate until we know for sure" from Atlantis and later qualified by Tharg when a letter writer pointed out the nonsencity of the statement.

A line from the Judge Dredd vs Death video game.
Judge Dredd: I'll give those Death Cultist EXACTLY what they want!
