i'm sure there will be yes, but probably not til a year or so down the line. the HC is only about £12, if that helps.

oh yeah, i've been right there with clem and his experiments... amazing stuff. i'm pretty sure THE LOSERS was DC's first ongoing digital lettering book (or at least clem's if memory serves) and he was honing his methods on FAKER too.
he's a lovely man in real life, and an amazing artist. he teaches art when he's not doing the comics work. released a book or two as well --

[. Is that Clem Robins on the lettering, BTW?

Cheers!

Jim

thanks jim - and well spotted on the clem robins letters! yeah, clem's one of my favourites - like tom frame, i find i recognise his characters anywhere. he's done a great job as usual.

and yes, i was quite surprised when my comps turned up - i got sent me 50 copies. thank you DC! thought i might craft a chair out of them or something...

Done in Painter 11 using the Gouache brushes.Don't think I'll be able to colour up my entry for the 'Alien' comp. Too much going on I'm afraid and most of it bad.

lovely. works great in b/w... don't worry about colour!

yeah, ZERO's SEVEN. we had it all planned out with the first 5 pages of script and layouts all done... here's a few of the character designs -- SHUGGY BEAR was a favorite, but he clearly needs a bigger gut.

there's also a key frame from the aborted MTV/2000AD animation, of Durham Red.

+ i have more cover sketches i've found -i'll post them when i get the chance.
