Seriously, I'd be happy to sacrifice a badge to see what happens if it gets hit by a bullet and I think it would need to be 7.62mm at 25 metres (or possibly 50 for safety).

Don't forget to reduce the load so that it only penetrates half an inch of flesh ... don't want to kill the test subject!

Cheers

I'm sure one of my JNCO's wouldnt mind holding the badge

An early Christmas Eve offering (or a late 19th December depending on your point of view).  Don't get excited - it's unfinished and a bit rubbish.

If i'd not gone huffy and destroyed the original (better) version, this would be finished.  But I can't promise it wouldn't be rubbish.  Had to start again thanks to getting in a strop.

You'd also have seen Joe, Blackblood & Deadlock as the three kings, Happy Shrapnel as a shepherdess (his fondness for lady volg clothing you see), Mongrol & Mek-Quake as sheep (a screen in the chest of the Mekkers-sheep would have read "baaaa") and Seth the blitzspear in place of the star.  The scene would have been set outside the Piston Broke (Khronicles of Khaos) and we'd all have seen Hammerstein's lovely snowman jumper that's oddly far too small for him.  And Ro-Jaws' speech would've had ABC letters from the logo craftily shoehorned into those over-large gaps.  Ah, the joy of failure in public.  Oh well, hopefully you'll all forget about this crap I've just typed and I can finish it for NEXT year.  And maybe make it less rubbish.

Oh, Ro-Jaws is MEANT to be in a baby-grow and blankets and that's MEANT to be a Nemesis the Warlock stuffed toy in his hand.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

That looks ace Mike, I'm sure we'll see the finished art in the future.
Well done.

Here's my one for the 24th, it just feels like a couple of days since I put my first one up.

Nice ones chaps.

You did good, Mike. I like it. Better get a move on though if you want to finish that drawing you describe for Xmas 2010.

Great funny, flip-r  mk2. The mind boggles as to how the idea came to you.

Pete Wells

Ha ha! Two brilliant drawings there fellas! Flip, you disgust me, but in a good way! Really nice colouring on your image too.

Mike, I'm chuffed we got to see some of your vision and the description sounds hilarious! I'd love to see Hammerstein in that jumper!

I'll be back with lots of treats today!

... And now for a real treat, courtesy of the brain-meltingly talentend KevLev:

Going to be away from the computer for a big chunk of today, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's waiting for me when I get home!

Have a splendid Christmas, one and all.

Cheers!

Excellent, excellent work fellas!

Righto then, I wrote to some of Tharg's artdroids and asked them to contribute to today's 'door'. A few said they would, several of them sending their pics direct to me and others saying they'll post themselves.

Here we go then:

Nick Percival:

Nick sent two amazing images, the first was this horrible Zombie Santa, yuck!

And secondly, this great promo image for his forthcoming Graphic Novel 'Legends: The Enchanted' (preview issue#0 out Jan 27th from Radical Comics folks!!)

Jon Davis-Hunt:

Jon sent this fantasticly cheeky picture of Tempest, it's ace!

Karl Richardson:

Karl sent this beautiful 'sketch' of Dredd, the talented git!

PJ Holden:

Finally our very own PJ sent this gorgeously hypnotic Anderson picture:

Ho, ho, ho! Thank you so much to those fine artists, I'm sure everyone on the board appreciates the time you've given and will join me in wishing you a Merry Christmas! Remember guys, one or two more droids may be contributing!

I'll be back later on with another little film...

COMMANDO FORCES

Those are not bad, not as good as all the amateurs though ;)
