Sorry to hear that Worldshown, I went through that with my Mam when I was at school and witnessed the first one in our living room, terrifying as a 13 year old.
I hope that she recovers well and she has a good chance, it being a mini-stroke.

One bit of advice I can give you is never finish sentences off for her as she will need to push herself to talk. It'll be very hard for you as you will feel you are trying to help because you will be watching your Mam struggle but you must not do it.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Thankfully, there's been no repeat of the incident today. If anything, she's been more alert than she has been for quite a while. Even survived a visit from the great-grandkids.
