That's not a great cover - like the return of the deadman or something, inside - some terrible art on Dredd, the odd panel is fantastic, but overall after wishing he'd be back for some time - I hope if/when he is back, it's better.

Dredd: The art of Dredd, is mostly terrible and it pains me to say it. Was always one of my favourite droids, but this isn't good. The odd bit is great, but overall it feels messy.

So its over at last with exposition! Lots of exposition. I guess the final episode befits the story as a whole, rushed inconsequential & with the feel of a first draft/that'll do approach. Awful. The worst so-called mega epic I can remember having to sit through.

I've only read Judge Dredd so far. I'm usually a huge fan of Flints work, maybe it's just the change from MacNeil, but Giant in two panels towards end of page two, & Dredd on page 3 (panel 1) look just so different from his usually might tighter style. It will be interesting to see his take on the Mechanismo Judges though.

The cover & the advert for next week are about the best things about this. Dredd & Anderson were ok, nothing special. The rest really just seems inconsistent. Strontium Dog was poor. I don't like the idea of the take over of the prog. If they were just 'specials' I'd not bother to buy them. I'd be glad if this was the last of these.
