Those look dam good LincnashOZ I have my fingers crossed that Warlord release the Angel family- but will they do a 2 arm Mean or a 1 arm.
If you’ve never added sand to bases before my process is to use a PVA glue slightly watered down. Carefully coat the base(and not my lovely painted figures) and dip into the tub of sand and knock off the excess. Depends how watered down you’ve made the glue you may not pick up the desired coverage just let it dry and repeat.
I have an image of your sand down under is lovely and golden 😁 mine is from a beach in the Firth of Forth 🙁. I’m so jealous as I want golden sand- may have to travel up the west coast to source some better sand but not this time of year.

This is becoming infuriating that the UK seems to be “left out” 😡
Why couldn’t the tooth shop just sell them 🙁 this will end up costing most in the UK a fortune to complete the set as we will probably end up using Eballs
Not looking promising for further expansion of the series if this is the hassle for the first lot. Was so excited when they were launched sooo long ago

😂😂😂😂 I never saw that until you mentioned it and now that’s all I see. It’s just sand from a local beach but I might have to paint them before I dip them into my tea 😂😂😂

Barrington that was a great story/game book. Not tried one of these since my teenage years.
I want to go to the Panda Hotel and maybe purchase a Red Panda on the black market 😁 anyway I never sussed the clues and got fired in all my run through (also ate a couple of suspects for fun).
Eventually read the who thing an when I found the “winning” number I am still bamboozled 🤪.
Anyway that was a great submission- better start thinking up one for next year 😁👍🏻

Thanks guys - sometimes the colour flashes aren’t bright or contrasting enough so might have to rethink some shades for the Dredd minis when I get round to them.

Here's a few of my Stront minis. These are all Metal and I prefer these to the Dredd from Warlord games but i understand that costs may have driven the change.
I've not yet started the Dredd minis (apart from the Xmas decy's) but I'm queued up with my larger projects I don't know when I'll get them started.
I've only posted a few of my favourite ones and i believe the monochrome effect brings out the detail in the figures pretty well.
