Whilst I don't know if Willie has ever appeared in 2000 A.D. he was the chief suspect for the murder of his manager in this weeks episode of 'Monk'.

'Mr Monk and the Red Headed Stranger' ended with Willie and Monk playing a duet on guitar and flute by Monks wifes grave. Beautiful, man. Beautiful.
