Click-bait title, I know. But what ya gonna do?

Got an Anderson story coming out in the Battle/Meg this month with Pat Goddard, which got me thinking about Miss Anderson again.

So here's my revised deep-dive on the character... https://alecworley.substack.com/p/why-the-greatest-character-in-2000

While I'm here, Substack tells me I've received a massive push in traffic from this forum. So thank you to everyone who subbed and shared. I really hope everyone's getting something out of the stuff I'm posting.

P.P.S. I'm also updating a big piece on Future Shock writing I did yonks ago and which was probably the most shared and read thing I've ever written, breaking it up into four parts, which might hopefully help anyone hoping to step up to this year's Talent Search at Thought Bubble: https://www.thoughtbubblefestival.com/2000ad

Funt Solo

A thought-provoking article - but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out the glaring omission of any mention of Anderson's daughter. Just as powerful as her mom, both psychically and physically - but with the not inconsiderable advantage of youth! Plus, the various writers of Anderson's daughter have managed to have her behave, not in the shadow of her mom, but as if her mom doesn't even exist! That's strength of character, right there.

Anderson's daughter - kicking butt and taking names in Dark Justice!
Anderson's daughter - getting groped by ghostly hands (just like her ma that time) in House of Vyle!
Anderson's daughter - rocking the high heels in Buratino Must Die!

(It's fine if you take notes here for your follow-up article.)

Definitely Not Mister Pops

I haven't read the article, but I assume they're talking about Cornelius from Skizz. I've got my pride.
You may quote me on that.
