Is it one or both Canon Fodder stories being reprinted in the GN?
I want it to be both but going by the names of creators in the Gn its not looking likely which pisses me the hell off and which means the bring back canon fodder brigade 9ie me) won't be as finished as I thought I would be
How can they reprint just one story? I wouldn't have thought there would be enough material to make up the book/pamplet thingy.
- Trout
The rest of the booklet is Bison 2.
It's gotta be both. The two adventures amount to a perfect fit 90 pages and it woulld seem pointless to do one without the other. As for the rights question with Millar I understood this was about the character rather than the Millar penned opener. If they can do one they can surely do both?
Read this again recently and it's still one of the funniest and best drawn strips in 2000ad history. Only sorry the reprint isn't in a luxurious hardback with extra features.
cannon fodder was awsome
Has anyone played Warhammer Online the witch hunters look very familiar.
Hmmm.... I'll have to take the chance. When's it out? I don't usually get the Meg, so I don't know the dates.
The next issue which is out november ish I think
I'm pretty certain it will just be book 1 - remember that the Meg GNs are limited to 64 pages. They'll probably bulk it out with either some Weston or Millar shorts.
Next Friday is new Meg day (for subbers) with a cover date of 12th November 2008.

Not amused to hear this. Another decade of the Monarch's tireless campaigning may be too much to bear.

Ha!
seriously though you have my word whatever way it turns out there will be no more campaigning thats a promise
Quoteno more campaigning thats a promise
I'd be very disappointed if you didn't keep going 'til we get the whole thing, squire.
Especially since it's the second story that's worth rereading. All that piss in the first one about Mycroft Holmes being Hannibal Lecter is awful.
Also, we need Monarch's powerful lobbying powers put to better use, like Stainless Steel Rat or Daily Star Dredds.
I wouldn't mind some Stainless steel rat or heck even a complete taxidermist and some of the daily star dredds i've read were good so I wouldn't mind those either

That is what would make the campaigning such a challenge
Reprint Dry Run!
Actually, scratch that: reprint Dry Run with new dialogue and captions that actually make sense.
Ditto Junker.
Anything fleishcher did should be struck from tooth history
saying that there was nice artwork on junker
ah I getcha.....
For some reason I remember enjoying Junker. Am I mad? It did have really nice John Ridgeway art which surely redeems it somewhat, if the story was that bad?
Im with the guy in the Dreddlines this month who suggested Shadows - absolutely.
What was that one about the eco-policeman and the big plant? Trask or Trash or something? Was that a bit shit?
And then theres Dead Meat.....they were alright...werent they???

No. Dead Meat was dreadful. And Junker was terrible as well—full of clichés and dull scripting, and even Ridgeway seemed pretty bored with the whole thing. Shadows was OK, though, if somewhat unremarkable.

You are correct.
The battle continues!
