I was wondering what everyone thinks is the future of the megazine.

I personally find it great in it's current form. I would however like to see less stories but greater length in them. In particular I'd like a single reprint story told in full or even or two issues. So, in short I'd like less stories but more legnth.

But what about ye? Old size, new size? More stories or less?

Personally I'm just curious as to wheter anyone thinks lots of snippits of stories is better than big mouthfulls....

Have your say - and I'll try and get the pictures for next time.

Just got the new prog and theres an AD on the back that says under twlves get in free, so I guess there is no age restriction on the main event.  I'm guessing you'd have to be 18 or over to attend the evening event, or preferably, bitter and over 30.

Doesn't say who will be there.  It does say star guest droids (if they turn up), previews, signings, talks, orginal art (I thought his last work was very Steve Moore), merchandise and the VIP party.

Do Boarders count as VIP's ???

I suspect we won't get our own room.  No.

What have the last 2 dreddcons been like? I didn't go but am seriousley considering going to this one. Is it worth it? (cue about a million responses saying "of course")

Soviet, it's under twleve, so better get yer stoty straight, and remember to memorise your new birthday.  You'll need to be doing this in a few years time for when you are trying to sneak into pubs, so no wasted effort.

Ah yes.  How much I still treasure the memory of the drunken haranguing you gave me in the hotel bar last year.

Heh.  A billboard for my local paper informed me today that the local police had "declared war on dog's dirt."

Will this be the new enemy after the war on terror?  I think we should be told.

The man in the photo above, it should be explained, is a DANGEROUS and DRUNKEN individual.  He is believed to represent a hitherto unknown subspecies of vampire (just look at the bite-marks on his neck) who sucks the blood of frothy Irish stouts and is allergic to all forms of garlic, sunlight and reasonable, quiet debate.  He can lulled into a false sense of security by asking him questions about the science of spatial storytelling, the rubbishness of the slushpile or how much better comics were in "the old days", whereupon he will wax-lyrical with such focus that he won't notice the sunrise and will explode in a drizzle of soot, fangs and polystyrene.   ;)

so as i far as i can see its a group of sad comic fan boys,and a handful of girls, lots of artists and writers, some artwork, some talks, stalls etc all to do with the world of dredd,
who would wnat to spend good money on that?
