Not sure what 'verification letters' means, but the Dredd movie announcement attracted quite a few spammers and trolls, so the mods were forced to impose a probationary period. Post for a while, prove you're not a total nuttjob and you'll be fine.
Hi there, just got here myself and no your not the only one who has problems with the verification letters >:( they can be a pain to work out sometimes.
