Sorry for the corny topic but it's Wednesday and I'm bored!
Along with Dredd I've been reading quite a bit of Marvel recently and as well all know, they love a good crossover. I know this has probably been mentioned on here before and crossovers are a bit corny but what would be your dream Dredd crossover?
I've also been digging out some of my old comics lately and found the Robocop Terminator mini-series from the 90s which leads to my vote for:
Dredd & Robocop vs The Terminator
Dredd and Robocop clearly both share a love for the law so in my mind would make a better team up than Dredd with some vigilante like Batman! The terminator would make for a good enemy aswell as he just keeps coming back no matter how many times Joe puts him down!
I'm not sure cross overs ever really work that well but I've always fancied seeing Dredd meet up with Captain America.
I think there's lots of scope for satire and it would be interesting to see what Cap makes of MC1 as a possible future.

This is what happened last time Judges met CA:

Personally, I'd like to see how Justice Dept and/or Dredd would fit in with the Star Wars universe. Would they go Rebel or Empire? Could Palpatine hack it as a Chief Judge?
Judge Dredd / Savage Dragon is pretty much my dream crossover.
I wouldn't mind a Dredd/Punisher crossover-or maybe even a team-up!
A Dredd/Calvin & Hobbes crossover would be a mad thrill.

'S been done! Sorta. Kelvin & Hobbit, back in 1226
For me, it's have to be
Tintin in Mega City 1.
Well, some interesting suggestions folks.
Loving the piccy of Cap America and the Judges tho if the recent Avengers movie is anything to go by, they will have a job on their hands bashing that shield!
Star Wars was an interesting suggestion and got me thinking about whether Dredd would go Rebel or Empire - I'm still not sure. Also like the Calvin & Hobbes and Tintin suggestions - plus Dredd would have to go easy on them cos they are juves! (well, maybe not the tiger) ;)
The Broons. There would be a hilarious misunderstanding, where The Bairn tells everyone she's heard that Granpaw's eloping with that gold digger Sadie from the old folks' home. The whole family rush round to prevent the auld fool getting lumbered, only to discover that it's a Pals club sting operation and The Bairn's grassed them up for being mutants.

Has anyone said Marshal Law yet? I'll say it then. Marshal Law. :p

You absolutely need to submit that to Zarjaz. (Though maybe Bolt-01 would prefer to avoid attracting the attention of 'The Broons' notoriously litigious owners.)

I wouldn't mind a Dredd/Punisher crossover-or maybe even a team-up!
dredd in thunderbolts (punisher, deadpool, elektra, venom, redhulk)
state sanctioned nutters = his kind of crowd?
Judge Dredd / Green Arrow - though I suppose the character un-chemistry might be a bit too on the nose.
Actually, scrap that. JamesC had me with Captain America, enthusiastic convention beatings notwithstanding.
Dredd and Anderson / Hellboy
Dredd & Jonah Hex in the old west to be followed by Dredd & HEX in the cursed Earth.
I'd like to see Dredd go back in time to New York and meet One-Eyed Jack from Valiant and Eagle.

If Wagner was interested, and they could sort out the rights, there's the bones of a great one-off story for prog 2014 there,
Richard. Pity no-one thought of that when Wagner was scripting
The Exterminator (919-927) at a time when that story could still have been produced as an in-house crossover.
I like the sound of Dredd and Captain America, as i do Dredd and Jonah Hex.
But One-Eyed Jack sounds like the one that would actually be a worthwhile read, so ill add my name to that.
Now to start the FB campaign up...
Surely it's not up to Stevie to point to the pan-publisher pachyderm that is Dredd / The Stainless Steel Rat?
After a suitably repectful amount of time as tribute to the Great Man of course.
Mike Carroll would be just the droid to script Joe vs Slippery Jim.
& if you need to ask who the artist should be you're posting on the completely wrong message board boyo.
Ha! The Galaxy's greatest Lawman vs the Galaxy's greatest criminal! Wow, that would be a grudge match. It'd be interesting to see how DiGriz got out of that while avoiding any kind of bloodshed.

Tharg! MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Narrowed it down to the only reasonable choice, the only villain capable of presenting a challenge to Dredd:
Dredd vs God:
So it appears the Chaos Bug was just a precursor to more global disasters, and several Mega-Cities around the world face similar disasters. Although these disasters are man-made, a few Mega-City Psi Judges discover there is a psychic link between them all, and begin heavily meditating. Eventually, they discover that yes, there is a God, and yes, he's using his "mysterious was" powers to cripple to technologically advanced human race, preparing them for the end times. It appears he's unhappy that nobody is following his commandments anymore, and that the leaders of earth have replaced their love of God with the worship of the law. Using their advanced dimension jumping technology, Dredd and a team of MC-1's very best judges travel to heaven, and butcher their way through swarms of angels, before finally setting upon the big man himself. God attempts to drag Dredd into a theological/philosophical discussion, to prove to Dredd that he is right. Not only does Dredd not entertain him, but instead gets straight to business: "Mass murder, foreign espionage, property damage, ecological warfare! You're doing time, creep!" Dredd and God fight it out, though God has no physical body, and thus tries to attack Dredd's mind. Dredd's will is too strong, and the Judges trap the Holy Spirit in one of those ghost buster trapping devices, and freeze said Holy Spirit in one of those crystals that they use for the Dark Judges. It could be told as a sort of Frankenstein deal, God being defeated by his own creation, but ultimately I think it should just be a story about how nobody is above the law, not even God.
That, or Dredd vs the Reapers from Mass Effect, though in that case I think the Reapers would probably win.
Interesting. Just don't let Garth Ennis write it! :-X
I have to agree that Dredd/ DiGriz would be fantastic plus one for that.
Dredd vs. (marvel) brood and brood infected wolverine?!

personally I'd like to see Dredd on Come dine with me
Not Dredd but would anyone else here be up for an Aquila / Adam Eterno crossover?
& whilst we're at it Doomlord / Martin's Marvellous Mini.

Narrowed it down to the only reasonable choice, the only villain capable of presenting a challenge to Dredd: Dredd vs God:
The character's publishers are notoriously protective of their copyright, and actively discourage crossovers with other faiths - which is ironic, since he's a barely concealed rip of another publisher's Yahweh character. They're much less relaxed than Rebellion about their IP being portrayed as a villain too, despite the copious evidence in the text to support such an interpretation.
Which explains why Grant Morrison & Brendan McCarthy's Biblical prequel eLbib has never been reprinted.
