Much as I love his early work, you can't deny that Danny has gone off the 'Boyle' with his last few films.
Seriously, the 'Choose Life' takeoff voiceover in that trailer is so hacky and witless. It's almost self-parodic, like a comedy sketch about what a belated Trainspotting sequel would be like.
I'm not holding out much hope.
I admit I wasn't enthused by the thought of this, but I'll give it chance seeing as it's already justified itself by deeply annoying the hipster crowd.
