Week 4 already... mind that's only 25% of the way through this Round and (gulp) just over a ⅓ of the way through the Tourney as a whole at 35% (gotta stop doing these calculations it scares me!). Anyway Week 4 will bring some horrible decisions with it and great thrills will fall.
This one adds up to a one-side battle surely? There will be an accounting here when the number are in:

Just reply in this thread naming your favourite thrill of these two series at the beginning of your post (or use Bold tags so I can spot it easily) and say what you like about these wonderful stories after that.
Match ends early on the morning of Saturday 12th February and the winner gets a place in Round 3 (of 9!!!).

Bastard Zane for the win.
I haven't read Numbercruncher so Survivor.

Survivor. Henry Moon ftw!
Shame on me for not expecting Survivor to get its own slot outside of Mean Team! Also shame on me for now voting for Survivor. I know it's not as accomplished as Numbercruncher, which really is a clever and fun story. But I just love me some Henry Moon, and the gleeful revenge he takes on Richman Von. I maintain it's the best thing Hilary Robinson wrote for the Prog (although it might be the worst thing Ron Smith drew, sadly. Not his finest hour).
Numbercruncher gets the nod.
I liked Survivor more than Mean Team, and it was a solid strip by an underrated writer. But Numbercruncher wins out for me here.
Numbercruncher.

Survivor.
I dislike both of these. Survivor - I'd even question why it's in the competition separately from Mean Team (although I won't because it's Colin's baby and he can dress it however he wants) - but it's just so ... melodramatic. Numbercruncher was like a Future Shock that was exactly 85 pages too long. In another reality, it's a television series instead of Good Omens.
Numbercruncher, then.
Super quiet here so the possibility of plenty more votes to come. If so you just have today to get um in and I'll do that counting in the morning.
Survivor
Numbercruncher. Can't believe it's not unanimous!

Numbercruncher. Can't believe it's not unanimous!
Yep and not only that but kinda close. I mean Numbercruncher always seemed to have it but its not like Survivor had just one or two votes, maybe this is an example of a Meg story struggling against a Prog story that Funt Solo postulated about earlier in the week? We'll see, for now though
Numbercruncher is counting its blessing as it accounts for another thrill and adds two victories up to Round 3.
By the numbers
Aw, missed this, Survivor is a great little revenge tale, and I don't remember Numbercruncher that well, but I do remember really liking the art so my vote is, .. ah well, to late :D
