Title: The Milkman Murders
Post by: Satanist on 09 July, 2004, 04:14:05 PM
Has anyone picked this up. Its another Darkhorse horror, 4 part mini series I think. The first issue has a very slow build up but gives a real sense of nastiness to come. Its all about a seriously screwed up family and that's it. I can't really say any more as there's only been the one issue but it does have some nice art from Steve Parkhouse, though I do prefer his B&W stuff. If you like his stuff then I think this is worth it for the last page alone.

Ok youve sold me..I'm going to my local comic shop tomorrow I'll see if I can pick up a copy..Love the title, sounds like a 1970's Italian schlock horror..just up my street

Yeah, he did seem like a nasty piece of work.

Good to see Parkhouse still getting his dues, as well as 2000AD getting a mention as well (never knew Joe Casey read it as well).

Picked up the first issue at the weekend.
Pretty gruesome stuff, i enjoyed it.
With Parkhouses style for the story i kept imagining a Bojeffries character from way back in the day to walk in.

Cheers,
Adam

Glad you all liked this as much as I did.

And yeah I know what you mean about the Bojeffries.
