Hmm, seeing as there has been a spate of 'blogging' over the weekend, I thought it might be a good idea for peeps to post links to Blogs here.
I'll start the ball rolling, just click on the 'lost property' part of my sig.
Bolt-01Lost property
I don't have a lot there yet, but I'll be updating it pretty regularly.
Me too- only I couldn't think of anything witty or clever to say. Even my pic is crappy!
Link: very boring blog
There's not even a post so we can leave a comment complaining!
And what are you, some kind of pinko-liberal? There's ads for charities on there!
Link: Bartlett's Bizarre Bazaar
I'm a busy man...
Mine:I'll be posting my fiction up here including Mega Man
Link: Iain Nixon's home made Waffle
I've posted a short piece of fiction over at my blog - tell me what you think- for some reason you might have to go to archive to see it though (?)
Link: Iain Nixon's homemade waffle
Well, I've just posted a peice on drugs in sport - I should have been preparing for an interview I'm taking this afternoon. Better dash!
When I get back I'll pepper all these blogs with pointless comments.
Link: Bartlett's Bizarre Bazaar
Here's mine, rather pointless and random just now but that might improve with time, or it might just get more sprawling and exponentially more pointless and random. What the hey....
Oh yeah, and you have to go into archive to see some of the pictures, lord knows why.
Zeep
Link: The Torrible Zone
Wow. I managed to post a response to your little article, General, that wasn't completely pointless.
Still, does anyone know why the most recent stuff you post in your blogs awlays spends some time in the purgatory of the archives?
I was wondering that myself, Conexus. I thought maybe I was arsing it up somehow but hey, maybe I'm not such a klutz after all if it's happening to you too.
I'm rained off from work today, and more than a little hung over, so I may spend some time running up my phone bill tinkering with things.
Like anyone's interested ;-)
A mish-mash of work from the old days of the 20th century. If people like it enough there may be more work in that format... who knows?
Link: I Want A Blog
I think the adverts on the blogs are related to our profiles. the General and me have studenty adverts, Bolt has a parenty advert, and Al has comic adverts. I can only assume therefore that Johny is a charity worker (good man) and that Ziggy is heavily into investments (hey, does grey suit you, you greedy fat cat? )
I'm assuming about you too Bolt, I would have said just then, but I had Rac in my mind , who definately is parenty. So this Advert profile link only seems to work for three of us (that i know of) Meh, maybe it's just concidence that me Al and the General have ads that sorta make sense
on one hand i'm mildly intreged, on the other, i lack time to real others blogs & have quite enough stalkers to contend with without doing one myself...
heres a synopsis;
me BOu (pretend name )
me woman
me likey swords, flowers , & motorbikes...this week.
me no write clever stuff.
Never noticed that, but I've got three kids. Not mentioned them on my profile though so.....
Maybe it is related to the type of template you pick?
Bolt-01
Like Johnnyeyebrows', mine can get a little boring, but it has super-spectacular kids' stories and stuff, too.

you not use blogspot ? Heresy!
I've just posted an illustrated short story to my blog. Give it a read. Leave a comment if you get all the way to the end.

JEB: Still nothing to say?
GC: Growing fast that one.
Al: Mentalist.
Natsan: That melefex cover is very David Lloyd! Nice one.
I've been updating every couple of days as well....
Bolt-01Lost property
Hey ! you forgot me.
Sorry Conexus, I did miss you off. More Mega man please.
Bolt-01
I'll me posting more tommorrow (here and on my blog) have space it out a bit.
when will you be posting more of your piccies up bolt ?
Come and see some of Bolt's Rogue Trooper art.
Does anyhow know enough html to help me format my blog?
Link: Bartlett's Bizarre Bazaar
Well my home PC is severely poorly at the moment, so I can't use my scanner properly, but hopefully I'll have a new Whistler story for you all next week.
GC: What sort of help do you need? My html is so-so, YT-2 is normally who look for help from
Bolt-01
Well, I need to customize a template so that my posts - including images, the text and my profile all fit on the page. None of the ready-to-use templates seem to do this. I'm using the 'simple' template at the moment, but this doesn't have the fast links to old posts or my profile on. The one I was using, 'scribe', went a bit shonky after I added 'Witnesses'.
And I'm not willing to try the one's with teddy-bears in the background or owt.
Know what you mean, I want mine to be wider as well. I'll have a monkey about and see what I can change.
Bolt-01
I'd be happy with a blog that published what I write straight away rather than hiding it for a day before putting it with the rest of the posts
...and yet you mock Livejournal. ;-)
--Grant
Mine posts are up and running as soon as I 'publish'. Do you click 're-publish' blog after posting?
Have you tried refreshing the blog afterwards. Works for me.
Bolt-01
"Natsan: That melefex cover is very David Lloyd! Nice one."
Thanks!I have a whole slew of paintings to do in the very near future so there will be more pretty pics to look forward.
I'm also selling off loads of my artwork if anyone happens to be interested.
Natalie
Okay GC, set your template back to scribe (or whatever you want)
In the settings, you get to see the html for how the page is put together.
scroll down till you reach the Main body section. In there you can change the pixel width (px) of the blog. Monkey about with that to find the desired setting.
There is a preview button to have a look see what you have done.
Be careful though eh?
Bolt-01
Al: The Reader is superb! brilliantly funny.
Bolt-01Lost property
Cheers! It's halfway through now, with another four pages of hideousness to go...
After that I might follow Art's example and print some B&B stuff, unless Gary says not to...
V funny. Can a Mega Man Comix (BC comics) make a guest apperance anywhere ?
I'll be happy to post one up if you give me a link to it, after the current story's all told.
I meant featuring as being in a panel in one of your cartoon, eg. just been read by one of your characters
If that was done it would be you drawing it as close as you could, but I'd be chuffed with that
Well, on the one hand it was done six years ago, so it'd be kind of messing with an ancient monument kind of deal, and on the other hand I've already got a Superman analogue as can be seen here...
(The below-mentioned 'incurable alcoholic' and 'one-man police state with all the moral capabilities of a woodlouse' will be making STARRING APPEARANCES in Commercial Suicide II, unless they just burn the pages and tell me to piss off and never come back.)
But if it's new readers you crave, I'll happily host a couple of your Megaman cartoons and a link to your site.
Al, these are genius.
Bolt-01
I've just put up the two page preview of The Song of Wayland, a comic I'm working on with the Mexican artist Jorge Munoz.
Link: Come see it HERE
Saw these in Bristol. How is the strip coming along?
Bolt-01Lost property
Well, Jorge's just sent me page 4....
;-)
Of how many?
Bolt-01
Bump, some of these blogs are really worth keeping an eye on.
Especially Als. He's barking.
Bolt-01Lost property
Al's imagination is quite frightening.
New comic up on my blog, if anyone is still reading.
Link: The Unbeatable Man
Nice strip General. You could do with it being a bit larger though- the lettering is miniscule on it.
The art reminded me os Scott McCleod on Zot! very nice.
Bolt-01
I've embiggened it.
Better.
Did you not feel like having a go at amending the html on your preferred template then?
Bolt-01
Well, at the moment I'm writing my dissertation, and while it's tempting to get lost in fiddling with HTML, I'll save it for when I've secured my future funding. So perhaps there'll be some (big?) changes after Wednesday 14th.
I did have a quick squint at your blog, GC. I'm impressed, especially with the variety on show. Sorry I haven't time to read it properly, I mostly scanned the street demo article and the letter to Michael Howard. Logical and amusing.
I've put my script for the "The New World" featuring sentient dinos, It's only the first episode as I've kndda got stuck in the mud over it since. anyway, tell me what you think.
Link: The New world script
Because Bolt-01 demanded it, here's a link to mine
Link: here!
And about time too!
Look at the Daredevil pic folks, you won't be sorry.
Bolt-01
Yah! Tis a very nice cover, tis no barn, but it is a very nice cover...
Does no one want to comment on my Dino script? Any comment, bad or good I appreciate them all
Bolt - Is something up with you picture hosting as I can't see any of the new stuff on your blog?
Photobucket is playing up at the mo, which is wierd because some of the stuff is there, but other isn't.
Concerned as the problem started when I posted a couple of Metro Dredds there for Bish-Op to look at.
Hope I've not fooked it.
Bolt-01
Hello all, I am the Pote. of Jame, that is.
My new-ish site, featuring online comics by me, and a regular comics-blog, jampot comics. Check out the comics via the link on the 2nd most recent post. Cheers!

Finally I'm taking the plunge - I've decided to share my blog with the rest of the board. You may find it boring (a lot of stuff about DIY and having no outlet for my creative impulses). The most recent post details my account of Expo 2005 at Bristol.
Link: Words from the House of Usher
By god Usher, I thought there was a long time between the posts on my blog!
And thanks by the way!
Nice blog, got a real 'rambly' feel to the writing that I quite liked. Thanks for the kind words and the links to the Yammer.
As it happens I've got six new episodes of Yammer starting next week, this week is a repeat of the last episode I ran.
Bolt-01, There are plenty of links to my blog up above!
Nice Blog Ush...another to add to my blog-reading-list.
Had no idea this blog thingy was so big. Joined up at myspace a few days ago, really only so I could put some music from the band up.
Click here to access my self-obsessed ramblings;

And here's the band's blog page thingamajig. It's not got much in the way of reading, but it's got streaming audio so the songs should start playing when you get there...

I cant think where else to post this so ...
I've been messing about with a new style and though I'd share some of the results here
http://keepbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/ (http://keepbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/)
I plant to draw as many Dredd related characters, sidekicks, villains etc as possible before my enthusiasm wanes, which going by my record will be a week or two. In the end I think I'll combine them all into one huge image..but I'll see how it goes

Aw man, I love them Johnny!!! Dark judges please!?!
Thanks Pete:)
In time...in time ..
Nice.
Yep that new style is great. Loving how light and breezey max looks. Great stuff.
Great stuff there...loving Tweak.
-Bouwel-
Thanks gents
Nice work Johnny!
Don't know why, I think maybe it's the palette, but they remind me very slightly of Pete Fowlers stuff. Only in the colouring though. Maybe Tweak's pose as well.
Great Dredd. Especially like his walking stick. Nyaahaa.
Those are looking very nice indeed sir.
Cheers! A couple of new ones up today
