Title: advice on selling progs
Post by: Gunn on 19 September, 2004, 04:45:12 AM
Hello I am new to the board and need some advice! I'm still waiting for my student loan to come through and need to raise some funds. I have decided to sell some of my back issues of 2000ad, battle and action, much to the delight of my wife!!!! Would like some advice on prices and the best way and place to go about selling them. I would prefer to sell them on this site.
I have: 2000ad progs 147-330
Battle issues all of 1976 and 4 missing from 77
Action issue all of 76 except no.2 and a few others.
If anyone has any good ideas about the kind of price i should ask for please let me know.
Thanx

Price with these things vary a lot.  Really, it's just what you can get for them.

You could put a classifieds ad on this site and ask for offers, or just slam em all on e-bay in three seperate lots.  Maybe split the two battle years up, and sell the 2000D's in chunks of about 50.

That's my thought on the matter, I'm sure people have a million others.

Where these your childhood comics?

Cheers

Paul

I'd fancy the battles and the actions, as I'm collecting those, but it wouldn't be a huge amount of money involved.

There's quite a big 2000ad market on ebay and decent quality early progs can go for silly values at times (and also for bargins).  I suggest taking a look at it to get an idea of values - a direct link is here:
