Okay, I've downloaded a free trial for paint shop pro 9, and given the low price it's been sold at I'll probably get it once the trials expired.
Anyway, what I want to know is what do you do to colour in line art(i.e comics)- i know I could go to help, but this is more specific
You can use the same methods outlined in the link I've provided below, although it's for photoshop, I use Paint shop pro, and the process is as I recall pretty much identical.

Paint Shop Pro is not a program I'm familiar with.. Sorry.
However if colouring lineart digitally is what you really want to do, try and get an old copy of Photoshop.
Even though I have version 7, I still use 5.0 for alot of the straight forward stuff.
There are heaps of useful comic art tutorials using P*Shop online- Sites for both D'Israel and Brian Bolland have proved really useful in the past.
