Title: Sketches on the Site
Post by: Byron Virgo on 13 November, 2004, 10:52:23 PM
Can anyone tell me how I can put some of my sketches permenantly up on this site (if indeed, it is possible at all)?

Also, do they have to be exclusively have to be 2000AD sketches: could theyt be by 2000AD artists, or feature characters from other comics (for example, Crisis)?

I think you have to email them to Wake to get on the site permenantly, but im not sure about picture content. I'd have thought it'd have to be 2000ad related, myself.

They have to be tooth related. So Molar man can be included ;-)

A joke, I said that they have to be tooth related characters. Molar man is a tooth related character. Get it?

Tooth related, in that the subject has appeared in one of the 2k related titles.
For example, I've a sketch of Tulip by Glenn Fabry on the site, though not strictly a 2k character, she has appeared in the Meg.

Email them to images at 2000adonline.com

They have to feature characters in the 2000AD database (but so far I haven't allowed Batman despite the crossovers)

Images should be 500-650 pixels wide and no more than about 200k.

Cheers,

Wake

Crisis characters are fine, since Crisis is in the database. The sketch artist should also already be in the database.
