Wulf's beginning to take shape now, so I'm asking for comments & criticism to help me get him just right. The texture is very early work in progress, so although feedback is more than welcome on that, it's more the shape and proportions of the actual figure I'm after.
So far, I'm geting the feeling his legs are too skinny, but I think I've been staring at it for too long to make any really objective decisions.
Over to you, Hive Mind...
Link: Cool as der cucumber!
The midriff is fine; the heads good, but perhaps could do with being a little wider; and the arms and legs need a bit of beefing up, as Wulf is actually quite a muscle-bound type of chap.
Other than that it's all good, and looks to be progressing well. One thing though: where is 'der Happy Stick'?
by der gotts! dat is gut ja?
It's good but, and I'm only saying this because it's the only way I can think of to describe it, it looks a partially inflated Wulf sex doll.
Enough air in the body, needs more in the head and even more in the arms.
Can we see it against a white background?
Other than that I agree with DXB.
You are making good time with Wulf, must be to do with you being a 'master' now, eh?

Head seems very elongated. Remember Dredd keeps describing him as "the fat guy" - you probably needto give him a bit more round the midriff as well?
Hmm. agree with the comments here.
Can we have an idea of scale? Put a pic' of Johnny next to him. I would say bigger arms and legs but the head is difficult to say until I can see him next to Johnny.
VERY good!
OK, so the main points seem to be that the body's OK, but the arms, legs & head are too skinny?
Here's the same pic against a white background. His limbs & head may look a bit thicker here due to the shadowed parts not getting lost in the background, but I've not altered the shape yet.
Can't really do a size comparison next to Johnny, as Wulf's not been scaled yet. I tend to try and get the proportions right across the model by matching it to line art in my viewport windows before I scale the model to fit in with the others.
Really must do something about those pointy thighs...
Link: Vy not look at der vebsite?
Made some changes:
* Beefed up arms and legs
* Removed corners from thighs
* Slightly reshaped hair, added a fringe
* Filled in some missing polys in his face
What think you? Any other changes needed?
Thanyoo ver' much...
It's getting there.
His legs look like they're attached straight onto his waist, and his arms look too short, but that may be because they're being held out.
Looks very good on the side view.
I really like the way you're using Carlos' art as a blueprint for the model - and the way you've sculpted the hair & face to fit his linework. It makes for a really 'realistic' (i.e. 'comic') look.
Not sure about his feet - shouldn't he have boots? Or at lest less stubby feet.
They look great! Just a couple of niggles - his head still looks a bit too big and elongated and the bottom right figure's arms and legs are too short.
Maybe try 'beefing him up' a bit and making the head smaller.
Good work fella.
I think that basically the torso should be larger, with a bit of a "side hang", if you know what I mean, over the legs... Might solve the "glued on" comments from above.
Dan
Broader shoulders.
Boots?
