Not really ... just a couple of things for any budding FS writer to ponder before we're subjected to another Templar or Ripper story - I'll try and find something rubbishing Lovercraft's stuff in a minute ...

I actually sent one in which suggested at Jack the Ripper but finished with Lord Lucan.

It was either a pastiche of old tales or just shite! I cant decide.

I dunno, cos it's a cheap and lazy way of adding a veneer of significance? Or a kind of short hand that gives a story a wider setting without wadding down with exposition?
