I think this is quite an obscure question.
During the 1980s six free Doctor Who comics starring Colin Baker - the Fat Doctor.
Art was by John Ridgeway and I'm assuming they were written by Steve Parkhouse.
I remember one of these had a Penguin as an assistant.
I'm guessing they were reprints from the Doctor Who weekly but I was wondering if any one knows the name of the stories and which issues they originally appeared in.
Finally can anyone work out when they will likely to be reprinted by Panini having already seen the Iron Legion and the Dragon's Claw issues in 2004 with the promise of more for 2005?
Paging Dr Watcher...
I should have mentioned that during the 1980s six free Doctor Who comics starring Colin Baker - the Fat Doctor where given away free in multipacks of Golden Wonder Ringos, Wotsits and something else.
I remember one of these had a Penguin as an assistant.
Aaaah, Frobisher, how we miss thy tepid dialogue, tenuous existence and half-baked backstory ...
I think they were the Cyberman story that appeared in Doctor Who Magazine numbers 108 (Exodus), 109 (Revelation) and 110 (Genesis).
Writer was Alan McKenzie, artist was John Ridgway.
You might find what you're looking for here if you have a bit of a root around. Don't sue me if it's not mentioned though.
Link: Stripped for action!
