no spoilers
i have not read the comic,so i cant compare but as a movie.
great entertainment.
keanu reeves, ummm? jude law me thinks would have been a better choice.

I've read two reports on Constantine (three if you include DD's) and they all have been POSITIVE!!
Might just give this one a go after all.
My choice for John was always Sean Pertwee.
Jude Law too much of a pretty boy.
Ray Winstone (although good) too old.
And it should have been filmed in London in the pissing rain or a boiling heatwave (having JC run around in that overcoat in the heat, just to make him a wee bit more pissed off).

Nah. Sting should've done it. Shit solo artist, but he might have made a good Constantine - if he could act, but that hasn't stopped Reaves' career.

I agree: Sean Pertwee (pre-balding) would have been an excellent choice. If they had to choose an American, that blonde bloke out of Buffy (James Masters?) would have been all right.
