At the back of the first M.A.C.H.1 Extreme Edition, there is a sample of art from what is described by Pat Mills as the "surviving 2000AD dummy prog" [paraphrasing].
Let's see it then, please, Tharg.
You could release it in the same format as the Prog 1 replica and the 3000AD replica (from progs 1033 & 1034).
It would be nice to have it in a collected and expanded TPO, in the current rebellion(ex DC) format.
More people would buy it than most GN's!
What's a TPO then?
TPO = "Thrill-Power Overload", the series of text articles about the history of 2000AD that ran in the Megazine a couple of years back.
Was it Rufus who said he had pages from this?
Oh aye - I'd buy that.
You could add in the article from EE#1, reprints of the prog 1 & 3000AD supplements and the dummy prog 1.
I've never seen the 3000AD supplement - is it any good?
BLAIR1!
*shudder*
Heya, I've got the art to Visible man, which although prited later Prog 40ish I think, was originally part of the Dummy. I've got the Great opening page which is different to the printed one.
I've also got unseen Harlem Heroes stuff by various artists.
Bish-Op knows I 've got this and some other art goodies, so if whomever responsible would print it, I'll happily arrange their inclusion.

Some? ;)
I downloaded a version of this from the net (good old emule) a while ago. Not sure of its provenance obviously.
Hey Marbles, I googled it, but didn't turn anything up. Do you still have it?

Here's Trigo's original version of 'Visible Man'. It's a great first page, but it's obvious why they changed it. It rather ruins the surprise ending of Episode One if you know what he looks like!
