Should we have a best writers poll similar to the artists one we had a bit ago?
I'd set one up, but either I don't have permissions to do that or I'm too dumb to figure out how to access that bit of the site.
Wagner wins.
Who's gonna get second place?
I'll post it up if you do the work Arthur. Theer is usually one poll a day so i could stick it up next time there is a space.
Cheers
Paul
I think you might find that Pat and Alan have a good chance against john
Maybe, but Pat has done some pretty bad Sl?ine's so he may have spoilt his own ballot paper.
Well, tactfully I wasn't going to bring that up :)
But just remember, without Pat, Judge Dredd would probably be called Matt Striker, patrolling the streets of New York in 2009 in his futuristic Hillman Avenger dressed in his raincoat.
Plus there's the ABC Warriors... Nemisis & Torque...
Yeah okay I forgive him.
I preffer Alan Grant's stuff to Wagner's, to be honest - but put the two together... :)
Pat has written some briliant stuff, but some utter tripe as well.
Very few writers are consistently brilliant.
The writers' poll is a good idea, but I notice that, as ever, the write-in version is producing slightly untidy results.
Is it possible to reorganise it so that we see the full picture at a glance, rather than having "Mills" and "Pat Mills" as separate entries?

One of the reasons people can change their votes is so they can tidy up their own misspellings and abbreviations. This kind of thing can't be done automatically. For example, is Grant, Grant Morrisson or Alan Grant? Is Moore Alan Moore or Steve Moore? You may think the answer to this latter question is obvious, but to make the decision automatic would bias the results.
