with the success of Batman begins (i havn't seen it but got the ps2 game completed it in 3 and a half hours so i got the jist) no doubt there will be a second so who would you like to be the villain?
i would like to see the joker again but this time going a little darker, but i would kill to see batman vs manbat.

I've read that the 2nd Batman film would have Batman and Gordon inlist Dent to help catch the Joker.
In the 3rd the Joker would burn Dents face with acid,causing him to become Two face.

The only point in having Bane in it would be if he broke Batman's back - this is the reason that Bane is still a popular character - his total defeat of Batman is his defining feature. I think the Knightfall saga is one of the best, but there are problems with fitting it into one film.

If Begins is based on Year One, then the next film would do well to go for the Long Halloween/Dark Victory type of story: Bats hunting for a serial killer against the backdrop of a war between the established gangs and the new "Arkham Freaks". Possibly with the Dent transition, definately with the Joker.

Personally, I don't think Robin should be introduced... I think there's enough milage in the Bruce/Alfred/Gordon/Fox/Dent relations to carry the movie without bringing in another character...

Robin is possibly my favourite US comic character, even more so than the Batman himself. I always thought the notche/tally-chart man was Mr. Zsasz, who did have a breif cameo in this movie... But he didn't look half as nasty as he should to me, so I may be wrong.
