Ms Agutter was the cause of several seminal moments in my pre-teen and teenage existance. Taking her underwear off and waving them in the air to stop a train in The Railway Children. Topless in Logan's Run, an R13 film which I saw in a New Zealand cinema when only 11. And, of course, in American Werewolf In London.

If you want cheap thrills, hire Jenny Agutter and get her to stand near water or a railway track...

We could all go down and camp outside her cottage demanding that she do these things?

Never know it might work.. we might get arrested of course.

"Don't remember her being totally topless"

You never watched Walkabout (1971). If that was the one where she was wandering around in the Outback with the Aborigine, then there is plenty of topless material. It was repeated on BBC or Channel 4 a few years ago.

Not a bad flick, either, as I recall (Walkabout, that is). A bit like the Blair Witch Project, which I only saw a few weeks ago for the first time.
As for Jenny Aguter, I never knew her name before, but yes: I would. And possibly, in my pre- to early teen dreams, have.

As the commentator said " In every film she hard a part in, she always took her knickers off!" She even managed it in Logans Run this afternoon.

"Ms Agutter was the cause of several seminal moments in my pre-teen and teenage existence"

Shouldn't that be "semenal"?

Jenny is a woman I hardly recognise without the word "pause" suspended in front of her. I always hoped that all women would be wearing Logan's Run outfits by now, as promised.

perhaps you should head on down to oz & hang out at the marion shopping centre. a couple of years ago they bunged a concrete roof over the whole thing, added multistoried malls & a cinema megaplex. can't walk into the place without having flashbacks to the city that logan & ms jenny escape from at the beginning at the film.

i've wet my knickers!

Definitely, with Servelan from Blake's 7 as Hershey. He he he, and Judy 'sour-pussed-bitch' Finnegan with a shaved head as Edgar!

I sent PVS a discarded future shock where I wanted the heroine to resemble Jenny Agutter, I seem to remember...

Hmm, maybe a bit too evil looking yeah? Maybe she should be Edgar then.
