Hope you enjoy it. It's not my cup of tea, but it would be nice for fans if it went out in style.

Wonderfalls was axed, actually.
So long, Enterprise - no longer will my telly be darkened by a tv show that stuck two fingers up to long-term fans in pursuit of new viewers, not accepting that this was only going to lose the core fans that were wavering, since the Trek franchise had disappeared so far up its own arsehole that it was only the hardcore fans keeping it afloat in the first place.  This show typified the arrogance of genre television that people would genuinely put up with any old horseshite if it had a spaceship in it, and I'm glad to see the back of it.  It may mean the end of Star Trek, which I admit is a shame, but if this is the kind of claptrap the producers were determined to come out with, it's better off dead - I only wish it had died off sooner, so it could have retained some of its charm.
Hmmm... alien doctor with funny forehead, young idealistic black guy on the helm, hammy captain played by typecast actor, hot bird on the space-telephone - Enterprise IS Galaxy Quest!  And I claim my five pounds.

Highly recommend Lost once Channel 4 get around to showing it.

Have seen the whole of series one & 'tis bloody good. The kind of series where you never know what's going to happen next.

Must admit that the fecking irritating ads for Lost have put me off - and that it's the latest in a long line of overhyped US imports on C4.

Still, it's got to be better than Nip/Tuck, Desperate Housewives etc. (maybe :-) )

Well people the verdict is in and i can tell u all what i think...........

HOLY ZOMBIE JESUS!!!! the last ep was an exercise in ego stroking, not in a good way!
Freakin' riker was all over that ep it drove me not only over the wall, knock me out of my tree but made the urge to kill rise to almost unimaginable heights,so long star trek i personally will NOT miss you in anyway, shape or form total bollocks.

Lost is good. Trust me. Ignore the adverts.

Enterprise: Well, that was dull. No change there, then. So now, for the first time since 1987, we don't have any new Star Trek to look forward to. I imagine that we'll be able to struggle on...

Those of us lucky enough to live in Ireland are able to watch Lost every Monday evening. It's good stuff! Lots of fun and some great little twists. Ignore the ads where they're all dancing around: that's just a promo thing. Actually, ignore the ads completely - some of them spoil the surprises.

Didn't injoy The last episode of Star Trek at all, still a shame it was run into the ground. What really got my goat was how all of a sudden the cook was surpposed to be the center of the ship. That, and fat, smurking Riker.

I'm looking forward to Lost,Starting(ch4,wed 10 august,8.30pm).Glad they got round to showing it at last.

I know Wonderfalls was axed in the usa.I think they made something like 14 episodes before stopped it,And I just thought Sky was going to show them all.

Tsss... Sky+ my arse!

Needless to say, it fucked up and I missed the episode they'd plugged to death for the last three weeks...

Typical.

Lost isn't too bad if you don't go in expecting any answers to whats going on(just tiny hints), what really pisses me off about this series was it was originally written as a 26 episode single season but due to excessivly good ratings they decided it could do with a second series(so I've heard) toytally diluted what seemed like a good idea.
They've just started Taken on telly over here that seems pretty good from the couple of episodes I've seen(bit like the X-Files Black Oil main plot). Still waiting for series 2 of Carnivale but I heard this was axed after two seasons.
In terms of Sci-Fi series there only seems to be Galactica now!

It's a pity Galactica isn't very sci-fi, though.  No aliens, no god-like beings taking over the ship every week - oh, wait, that last one is a good thing.
Actually, it looks like Stargate is going to be the new Trek, what with him off Farscape (playing the same character, apparantly) taking over from MacGuyver, and the spin-off show finding its legs surprisingly quickly for something thrown together in a hurry.
Still not very good, though.

So, what happened at the end of Enterprise?

Riker? What?

Don't burn me. When I find out what happened, I will subscribe to the hive mind's consensus of hatred immediately.

I must confess I haven't seen any of it since about halfway through the first series. I just lost interest.

But I'd like to know what the outcome of all the time travel bullshit was.

Good lad!

Spoiler.

Actually after hearing that it's got a 'Bobby in the shower' ending I'm mildly interested to see how bad it could be...

I'm getting confused, now - is the episode shown on Sky different from the one shown in America?  What was the Bobby Ewing ending?  Was it supposed to be inferred that the whole series was a holodeck thingy?

Just heard they actually woke up the Shuttle crew this morning with the Enterprise theme.

It's been a long road

Gettin from there to here
It's been a long time
But my time is finally here

And I will see my dreams come alive at night
I will touch the sky
And they're not gonna hold me down no more
No they're not gonna change my mind

(Chorus)
'Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything
I've got strength of the soul
No one's going to bend nor break me
I can reach any star
I've got faith
I've got faith
Faith of the heart

Battlestar Season 2's prety good so far (if a bit slow) - I've only watched the 1st 2 episodes though.

Watched the 1st episode of Season 9 of SG1 last night and it looks promising (Claudia Black - woo!)

Let's just see how many cliche's you can cram into 30 seconds:

1. A Long road
2. See my dreams come alive
3. Touch the sky
4. Faith of the heart/Faith to believe (whatever that means)
6. I can do anything
7. Strength of the soul
8. Reach any star

Thanks, James, but I'm quite frustrated with scanning online "reviews" looking for plot points.

I've lost all interest now.

Well i dont care if it makes me a treker or trekee or whatever i dont stick a pastie on my head or ponce around drinking vodka with blue food dye in it what i DO do is love and watch any and all sci programmes i can because i love em so to be far yes put a space ship in it and ill watch it #
but of the episodes i have seen of enterprise i liked i thought it was very good just as good as any of the other sci fi progs i have seen
i loved voyger back when all any one said they hated it but then every one would still watch and by the end most people loved it
i liked enterprise and the episodes of the last series i have seen where pretty bloody good
i think what people forget is sci fi progs like star trek battlestar or firefly are just soaps soaps for people who like spacships rather then sholder pads or cats on roof tops or sentences that end in "yeah?"
but soaps non the less
good bye enterprise ill miss you

Lost is/was great. The first series was shown here at the start of the year, and withthe filming delays in the US, begun to run only a few weeks behind the US.

I even got the missus to watch it - and enjoy it. Believe me that IS high praise for the series as to it's watchability.

Star Trek is rarey shown over here, I've never seen TOS here, TNG finished showing about two years ago, DS9 only showed the first series, Voyager showed the first 5 or so series, and Enterprise never made it. ALL those shown have been on different channels, and all at totaly unwatchable times. No wonder it never picked up here.

TBH Sci-fi gets totally bolloxed by Danish tv, and when they do show it, it's on at stupid times, is treated as 3rd rate tv, and is normaly shown 55 years after it premiered in the UK.

The few exceptions to this are because of major US production pushing and hype.

Jumping Judas- what a load of unbelievable crap!

I'm more than likely in the minority here when I say that I quite enjoyed Enterprise- especially the final series- but that ending...

Not everybody (my wife included) watched the Next Generation and even if they had, it'd be pretty easy to miss the one episode that this one seems to revolve around.

It was shit.  What a shame to go out on such a bum note...

Possibly a last ditch attempt to sell the series on dvd to Next gen fans.

Alright johnny, the episode of next gen was supposed to be about riker's old ship the one that metaphased into the inside of an asteroid, most memorable for being pants!

It did seem a bit daft to me that the writers would try such an awfull trick on the fans who'd watched this show for 4 yrs!

oh yeah the next gen ep it's based around has romulans in it, but in that ep riker never went into the holodeck!

and how about the "we're not going to reveal the ending" ending? what a jip!

mums watching this on the repeat.  i'm overhearing bits.  'to the next generation'.  how corny is that?  just when i was thinking i was a traitor to trekkers, i'm now glad i never bothered with it.   though a dvd box set in my collection is inevitable at some point.
