Can any of you hip cats tell me what Dredd story best exemplifies Mega-City 1 for you? For me, it was 'Sunday Night Fever' (which I tried to explain here before but fecked up and typed 'Block Mania').

i thought that one that had the brit city competion cits dropped off and had to find there way home was pretty good example

I thought 'Mad City' was good. I also like the occasional ones that feature the Branch Moronian sect.
