Title: 2ooo aD s for grabs
Post by: mondocoyote on 12 October, 2005, 08:16:07 AM
okay, Ive finally got my tickets to England sorted and have to get my sisters loft clear of comics.

Anyone interested in an instant collection. This is a huge huge collection, and I wouldnt want to break it up. some of the comics are probably mint, but this is essentially a well read collection, and many have the creases to prove it.

the collection would have to be picked up from Dorset within the period sun16th - wed 27th October. heres a basic list of whats available. no Zenith Im afraid...  Im taking that back with me.  If you could chuck some cash my way for them that would be apreciated, but really I just need them out.

Heres a breakdown of what there is there

You don't have a Burger Wars episode in prog 71, no.  You should definitely not worry about holding onto that.

Noooo!  Don't chuck 'em!

If nobody here wants them or if they can't get to them in time, haven't you got a charity shop nearby?

Or a youth club?

Or a second hand book shop?

Or a comic shop?

Please don't just chuck them.

Even as a job-lot / pick-up only on E-Bay, you'd be bound to get a taker.

Hi

Long time lurker here.

Abandoned ship around prog 800, rejoined the fold prog 1350.  I'd be delighted to take them off your hands, if you cant find a more deserving case.  I only really need the misssing progs, but if you want shot of the lot I'll pass try and pass the duplicates on to a more deserving home for you.

I work in Poole and could pick up the progs any time w/c 24th Oct.

Feel like a real grasping fecker now - 1st post is begging for free bees!!

Mondo, I've long wanted to read Shade, but have never found the opportunity.

However, I'm far too far away to collect. I'm in rural Scotlandshire, where they hunt the wild Scottie!

How many are there? Is there no chance of posting them? Obviously, I'd cover all costs and make a donation, depending on what I'd be getting.

Sounds good, Mondo. Mail me with a price suggestion and I'm sure we can do business!

I'd rather have a complete run than just the first few issues, Noisy. Sorry!

Around the time I was collecting Doom Patrol, I had a couple of friends who recommended Shade, but I couldn't afford both.

It's supposed to be a bit of a mindfuck.

oh, and it really is a huge mindf**k. after issue 50 it really goes of at some weird tangents.
