Well, can I insult you (I haven't yet so there is no need to be creative Jacob, really) and when I've finally insulted you, actually said something thats upset you, can I then apologise, and make it okay?

Scojo going on annoys me as much as anyone here, but what also annoys me is the reactionary element that causes half of the problem in the first place. And it annoys me when people find easy targets to make fun of, it's the lazy and cruel behaviour of children.

Ah, quoting two conversations to entrap me. I never said I liked kids. I just think its a shame kids can't read comics like when I was a lad and that 2000AD has gone from being a vibrant kids mag to a stale adult one.
I however follow Ray Bradbury's theory that kids are evil beings from another world. They can be cruel and savage beasties and I don't buy into the victorian notion of childhood.
As for whether the picture is offensive or not (don't I remmber a very similar one a while back) is entirely subjective, but especially after the judge russell scojo is a twat burst of threads, the timing (the secret of comedy I've heard) was atrocious and ill advised. I probably would have found it more funny if the poster had left it to die down for a week or two. But as I was annoyed, my opinions must stand, regardless of whether anyone disgrees with them.

My fault for not really paying attention to the rest of the page before posting, I always miss out on the evening posts, only having a computer at work. At least it wasn't a cartoon of Scojo with a young child being arrested by Dredd...

My references to childish behaviour was really meant at junior school kids, my refernce to kids reading 2000AD, in my own patronising way (sorry Judge) were really meant, as tu-plang said, to cover secondary school kids. Which by this stage have usually been assimilated into human culture.
