Title: Alan Moore Recommends...
Post by: DavidXBrunt on 27 January, 2006, 01:10:19 AM
Whilst looking for an image of the underground classic 'Pat Mills Sings' I came across this, which looks to be part of the Beebs RAW initiate to encourage adult literacy (Reading And Writing, do you see?).

Alan Moore explains why he recommends the comics listed, and for vanity reasons I'm tickled to see 'True Brit' included on the list. Titles you'd expect to see are there along with a few surprises and some obscurer books, and it's nice to see Moore championing Strangehaven and the works of Bryan Talbot. Anyway, enough from me...

And further exploration (i.e. clicking on a link) shows it's got Clapton all to do with the B.B.C. and I've made a fool of myself. Again. Still, at least this time it didn't revolve around the elephant impression.

And it's not even new recommendations. Just ignore this.
